Sulevia of the flourishing vale,
the riverbank and the tangled, fruitful vine,
lady of the red hills, one among many,
I call to you. Sulevia of the old city,
you watched as men and women gathered together,
as they built their houses and made their homes;
you made them welcome in your land, blessed their babies,
hallowed their hearths, granted to them the boon of peace
and plenty. O goddess who lives in the hearts
of those who hold you dear, of those who know your bounty
and your might, I thank you for each day’s small gifts,
for your constancy, your mercy and your grace.
