Exploring a new path as best I am able. I am a pagan, a heathen, a polytheist, and a free-form druid. This blog collects my prayers to the gods of the Celts, insular and continental, and those Germanic gods who were honored in what was once Gaul.
I hesitate to say that I take requests, because inspiration is what it is, but if you honor a god of these regions that I’ve missed here, drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do.

Hi, your about is a bit vague but I surmise you’re a polytheist from Northern England. I like your poetry, particularly the poems addressing gods I connect with such as Brigantia and Mabon / Maponus. It’s good to see somebody else sharing inspiration from a similar path.

Thank you; actually (and I hope this won’t make a difference to you) I am in the States. I’ve traveled a bit in what was once continental Gaul although it has been quite a while. I am however most definitely a polytheist!

No,doesn’t make a difference. Whilst I mainly work with gods / nature spirits rooted in the local land I’ve met others. Everything is connected. The gods know no boundaries.

Your work here is lovely. I am particularly connected to Math and Cerridwen and find your pieces to them breathtaking. Thank you.

Hey, a question/suggestion (as I am writing my review of your book at present, with a link to your blog): can you post a link somewhere easily visible on here to your book and where it can be purchased? That would be excellent, and might bring in more sales for you, too!

Hello! I was looking at the poetry links at Gaelic polytheism and love yours! I just saw your name – I bought your Heathen book and quite like it. I don’t buy books of poetry, so it was a big exception! But the Gods quite love me reading them aloud.
I’m editor for a book on Celtic polytheism for Pagans in prison. For each of the deities are “biographies” with an invocation and a prayer related to prison-issues. Because people in prison have so little money and so many expenses of the book has to encompass as much as possible and that includes many different voices. I really would love to be able to include some of your poetry to the Celtic gods and goddesses. You really make them come alive and it’s an important part of the book. The book also has sections on rituals, devotions, who were the Celts , polytheism, animism, walking meditations, crafts , language , history and a lot more! It is 400 pages and a collective effort for any Celtic polytheist to submit writing to as long as they are not racist, sexist, ableist, transphobic, classist , ageist or believe that some ethnic cultures are better than others. As the book will be sold at cost to people in prison nobody is getting paid – for me it’s a devotional offering. If you are interested please email me at my pagan prison support email: RhiannonRestoration@gmail.com. Pagans in prison are involved, so it will meet the needs of the community. However it will be probably the first Celtic polytheist book with actual rituals based on traditional folklore, with historical information about at least 50 gods and goddesses, and different creative ways that people have made the tradition alive today that other people can work with. Your invocations really capture so much in such little space it would be really appreciated . I hope to hear from you soon.
