Alisanos of the tree and the stone,
of the mountain and the wood, I call to you.
God of the golden hills, of the spring and the vine,
granter of what is needful, what is pleasant
in life, you know the worth of the moment,
you know the strength of small things, the might of one man
and the greatness of many standing steadfast,
working in unity. O constant one,
O god whose works and legends lie in shadow,
Alisanos in whom folk once placed their trust, their faith,
Alisanos whose blood and bone are of the earth,
I seek understanding, I offer you my praise.
