I call to Ambisagrus, mighty father of men,
lord of the land bound by mountain and sea,
the land that began many roads, many journeys;
yours is the sweet wine, the amber gem, the treasure
made by skillful hands, the trader and the trade.
God of the firelit night, the clamorous sky,
we pray to you for safety from the storm;
you are our shelter, our defender against those
who wish us ill, who would do us harm. You are greater,
Ambisagrus, than any worker of woe.
I offer you my words of reverence,
O steadfast one, I offer you my praise.
