I call to Bran the Blessed, lordly one, raven-king,
son of Penarddun the beautiful, son of the sea,
brother of the white-winged one whose heart broke of sorrow,
keeper of the marvelous cauldron of rebirth.
Bran of the battlefield, wise in the ways of war,
O chief of might and renown, great of glory.
Bran the open-handed, good and gracious host
of traveler and guest; your hearth is ever warm,
your table ever laden, heavy with food and drink.
The birds of the tower are yours, O Bran,
and the fine black earth beneath the stone.
To you I offer words of praise and reverence.
