I call to Gamaleda, great of wisdom,
great of heart, old as the mountain, strong as the sea;
O ancient one, you stand astride the mighty river,
firm of footing, keen of eye; all things you see,
all things you know, all things you understand.
Good counsel you give, O quick-witted goddess,
to those who seek it; good fortune you grant,
O kindly one, to those who ask your favor.
Gamaleda who answers the prayers of the faithful,
rightly did men and women put their trust in you
so long ago; rightly do we revere you now,
pay you homage, speak your name aloud in prayer.
