Bright-horned Gebrinius, fleet-footed god
who knows all roads, all passages, whose step is sure,
whose kindess knows no equal, I call to you.
Great-hearted god, you watch over your children
for all the days of their lives, you are with us
from our first shrill cry until our last broken breath
and beyond. Gebrinius of the river wide,
the fallen fortress, the ebb and flow of right and rule,
you know well how to thrive in chaos, to flourish
as the world transforms. You add your strength to our own,
you nourish and sustain our lives, you bless us
in so many ways, I offer you thanks and praise.
