Grannus of the seething springs, the healing baths
of far-famed Gaul, so long ago your might was known,
so many thousand-years ago your glory shone
upon the land. You know well of the faith of men,
your name called out in heartfelt prayer, carved deep in stone,
acclaimed by those who knew your gifts, the pious
and the supplicant. You know well of the faith of men,
so fleeting and so fervent, so strong it yet abides,
in the fiery sheaf, in the ten-night feast.
Grannus, granter of wellness to the ailing,
mender of bones broken and hearts torn asunder,
I call to you with reverence; I offer you my praise.
