Icovellauna of the sparkling waters,
mistress of the flourishing valley, I call to you,
O goddess. Far-famed was your temple so long ago,
shining bright upon the hill, atop the winding stair,
where the faithful would go to the font far below,
to make their prayers, to leave their offerings,
to drink their fill from the soothing spring.
Goddess of the river-fork and the ruddy cliff,
when first did men and women till the fertile fields,
when first they came together in village and town,
to you they turned for favor, O Icovellauna.
Goddess great and good, I praise and honor you.
