Naria of the bright eyes and the flowered fields,
lady of green meads and fair fortune, I praise you.
Long ago your people walked the heavy-wooded land;
sheltered by stone, they stood on the bank
of the uneasy Thielle and watched the waters
fall and rise. Well-crowned goddess, draped in raiment
rich and comely, gracious goddess who answers
the prayers of the pious, of those who pledge their faith
to you; Naria of the orchard and the vine,
granter of the blessings of the earth, the gift
of happy chance, of counsel close and deep,
I honor your kindness, I honor your might.
