Sirona, soft of voice and gentle of hand,
whose bright eyes we see in the star-scattered sky,
I call to you. Goddess of the broad blue river,
goddess of the sulfrous spring, Sirona,
your name was spoken in prayer so long ago
by the ailing and the injured, with thanks to you
they poured out the sweet wine of the valley;
we say your name again this day with reverence
and awe. Sirona, easer of ills, healer of wounds,
mender of bones, soother of souls, you restore us
to wholeness, you bring us back to ourselves.
Sirona of the serpent, I honor your good works.
