O noble Graius, shield of kin and kith, true
and trusty defender of your people, your goodness
and your steadfast spirit are well known, well reckoned;
to the faithful you show your kindly countenance,
a comfort and a joy; to those who would oppose
your tribe, you are as awesome and as terrible
